The
keeper of the gate and colts, our most senior
gelding trained to Grand Prix in the sport of
Dressage. His role on the ranch is to input
to the frisky young colts all his worldly
knowledge. Once the weanling or yearling
colts need to be separated from the girls,
Festival begins his tutoring with these young
steeds. It is a wondrous sight to see this
giant among future giants. The old man can
bring tears to your eyes when you see Festival
strut his stuff across pasture with such beautiful
suspension and cadence.
